Philip’s weight has remained constant over the last 5 years he has been personal training in London with me. To keep his interest levels over this time, I have introduced Philip to the Metabolic Balance diet, the 5:2 diet and the LCHF (low carbs, high fat) diet. Over the years I’ve also had to patch Philip back up after a couple of skiing accidents which have lead to 2 shoulder dislocations and SI joint (back) problem. He is currently running above 3000 metres in The Altitude Centre getting ready for the slopes. Not bad for someone with a busy work and family life.
Amy started personal training in London with me in July 2014. In that time she has so far lost 25 kilos of body fat. I weigh Amy, take her body fat % and waist circumferences every week. I also monitor her MyFitnessPal app every few days to watch what she eats. I see Amy 3 times per week and set her homework on the days she doesn’t see me.
Chris has been personal training in London with me for over 5 years. In that time he has lost over 10 kilos, walked up Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdonia in under 24 hours as part of ‘The 3 Peaks Challenge’. I see Chris consistently twice a week every Monday and Friday with a regular weekly assessment the highlight of his Monday morning! We train outside.
Lisa likes to have guidance and structure to her weekly strength training sessions. I concentrate on toning her muscles up and posture correction as Lisa has a desk-based job. She is active outside of the gym so she supplements our training with regular running, Pilates and yoga sessions.
Lorraine had just given birth to her son and wanted to get back to her pre-baby weight … and some! We trained 3 times a week and she completed her ‘homework’ set by me 2-3 times a week. We cut out complex carbs, added breakfast, increased lean protein intake and cut back on alcohol. Consequently her fitness improved levels no end and she hit her target! The results speak for themselves.
Neil started personal training in London with me 6 months ago with a reasonable level of fitness. He regularly played golf and football but had neglected his diet, intense focused gym sessions and his posture. Within 6 months of regular training had dropped 4 kilos, his body fat has reduced from 30% to 25% and his waist dropped from 95 cm to 88 cm. Although his stats are modest the main difference was his body shape. The pictures to the left are testament to his hard work and change in eating habits.
